Turnover is increasing and is not just the fault of the person leaving, but the company and its lack of training on how to interview with no hiring systems in place. 72% of managers are never trained to interview and hire new employees. 86% hire the people they like over a fit for the job requirements. It is important – and more cost-effective – to make the effort up-front of discovering the character of a candidate, rather than hiring them only to find out that they jumped ship for a better opportunity elsewhere.
